Aleatica Foundation was present at the Excelsior Forum, which this year was dedicated to the analysis of “Industry 4.0: Paving the way towards the digital revolution”, organized by Grupo Imagen. The event took place on June 19 at Ciudad Imagen, and its objective was to promote a dialogue between experts and opinion leaders on the latest trends in technology, mobility and financial services.
The day focused on Industry 4.0, also known as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which integrates advanced technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence and data analytics. These advances are significantly transforming the manufacturing and production of goods and services.
During its participation, Aleatica Foundation presented an immersive experience on safe driving, using Oculus as an awareness tool to highlight the dangers of irresponsible driving. The demonstration addressed the seven risk factors associated with traffic accidents: distractions, helmet use for motorcyclists, hit-and-runs, seat belts, speeding, unsafe passing, and alcohol or drug use while driving.
During the forum, Rubén López, general manager of Aleatica in Mexico, presented the company’s commitment to a long-term vision in the country, using advanced technologies to promote intelligent and safe mobility.
Lopez pointed out that Aleatica has control centers that operate real-time surveillance cameras along its highways. These centers use artificial intelligence to gather information, which allows them to improve the services offered and thus the safety of users. For example, the company can identify areas with a high incidence of accidents and take preventive measures.
In addition, Aleatica’s general manager in Mexico mentioned that the company is promoting sustainability from various angles, since, through Televía, it offers reductions in toll rates for hybrid or electric cars. Aleatica is also working to convert 100% of its vehicle fleet to hybrid and electric.
These efforts are aligned with the company’s goals of reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by 2030 and achieving net zero emissions by 2050.
The event was covered nationally and multiplatform through Excélsior TV Nacional, through channel 3.4 and streaming on YouTube, as well as print and digital content before, during and after the event.
