The Aleatica Foundation promotes training for motorcyclists to save lives

In Mexico, road safety remains a key challenge. Motorcyclists are among the most vulnerable road users, particularly in areas where motorcycles are a daily means of transport and, in many cases, a tool of the trade. Given this reality, training in safe riding is essential to reducing risks and protecting lives.

As part of this commitment, the Aleatica Foundation held two safe riding training sessions for motorcyclists on 17 and 18 March 2026, as part of the Motociclismo ConSentido programme.

The sessions brought together 84 people, including staff and members of the public from communities where Aleatica operates, and staff from the GANA concession – Amozoc-Perote Motorway.

The sessions took place in Mexico City and included training at two levels: basic, aimed at people with no experience or less than one year’s driving experience, and intermediate, focused on more experienced motorcyclists. In both cases, the approach combined theory and practice in a controlled environment.

Throughout the day, participants strengthened skills related to vehicle control, defensive driving, risk anticipation, compliance with traffic regulations and preventive maintenance checks – all fundamental elements for safer riding.

To conclude, all attendees were given a certified helmet as a gift, an essential item for reducing the severity of injuries in the event of an accident, reinforcing the programme’s preventive approach.

These initiatives enhance driving skills and promote shared responsibility, as every decision impacts both one’s own safety and that of others on the road.

At the Aleatica Foundation, we celebrate the participation and interest of those who took part in these sessions, and we reiterate our commitment to continuing to promote initiatives that contribute to safer, more inclusive and more humane mobility.
