Motorcycles have become an increasingly popular means of transportation in Mexico, both for personal travel and for work. It is important to note that motorcyclists are among the most vulnerable groups with regard to serious injuries and fatalities resulting from traffic accidents.
In light of this, the Aleatica Foundation for Road Safety promotes Motociclismo ConSentido, a program aimed at strengthening safe driving skills, promoting a culture of prevention, and reducing the risk factors associated with motorcycle use.
As part of this initiative, the Foundation will hold a new Road Safety Day for Motorcyclists on March 17, 2026, aimed at both Aleatica employees and the general public.
This event will include theoretical and practical training tailored to different levels of experience, with basic and intermediate courses taught at certified facilities and under technical standards that allow participants to develop key skills such as:
- motorcycle control and maneuvering,
- defensive driving techniques,
- risk anticipation,
- and safe decision-making in different road environments.
A key component of the program is promoting the correct use of certified helmets. Various studies show that a proper helmet (correctly fitted and certified) can significantly reduce the risk of fatal injuries and traumatic brain injuries. Therefore, as part of this initiative, the Foundation donates certified helmets and provides practical guidance on their use and care.
Through these actions, the Aleatica Foundation reaffirms its commitment to preventing road accidents, protecting lives, and building safer mobility, placing people at the center of its road safety strategy.
